I bought this fabric about 6 months ago with the intention of making pillow cases out of it. This class was perfect! The instructions said to put the pattern vertically but in all honesty I preferred the pattern horizontally which is why it's sewn that way.

 

Typically i always serge my edges beforehand, especially when working with printed cotton as it frays so easily which is what I did here.

 

I really enjoyed this! My wife liked this as well and we both agreed that I should look for tutorials on how to finish a whole bed set! I can't wait!
