I love the birds on the roof - the whole feel is is so wonderfully ambiguous all at once! It is a little bit spooky and yet makes me want to see it and feel kinda like going home...

It's got a moody atmosphere to it, lovely.

Lovely work Barbara! You're right that you also have grey tones in your study, and that's okay! Different types of studies give us different kinds of information, and I've also had a lot of fun making studies that include mid-range tones. I DO definitely recommend ALSO trying it with the two tone - pure black and pure white - method as well, as you suggested, because that will give you supplementary information about the simple shapes that underly the piece. I also love Andrew Wyeth's pieces, he is truly a master. Lovely study of his work — I hope you keep it up! :) Marie-Noëlle

I now realize it's not really black and white... also grey tones.
I will make it more black
