I worked on A4 paper, though I’ll probably try A3 at some point since it offers more scope for refining details. It’s easier when I paint the same subject a second or third time because I’m already familiar with the motif, reducing the chance of the brush going the wrong way. 

You might notice some paper damage along the edges. Stonehenge Aqua Coldpress doesn't handle masking tape well, but it is a very pleasant paper to work with, though.

I think this is an excellent exercise; mistakes can be corrected in subsequent layers, so there’s no need to give up. Thanks, Krzysztof.
