It was great fun bringing those colors together. I arrived at a color combination that I liked at the third try. And it took a few more tries to figure out the right amount of each paint, especially when going around curves.

That is my sketch, based on a family photo in front of a landscape with a waterfall.

And that is the final piece. There was something missing in the top left, so I gave it a try with a washed out version of the stripes, inspired by the tree, but I think it was not the best solution. I could maybe try horizontal lines instead? What do you think?
