Having completed Vicky's earlier watercolour texture class, I already had some ideas on what I wanted to do. Using a mix of rock salt and table salt, I made two textured backgrounds in 'nyx' and 'mauve' respectfully. 

I didn't have a straw which made the first class slightly harder to follow, howeeeever I really loved doing this second painting - it was really fun, and I loved how the butterflies ended up looking.

I will definitely be experimenting more with this technique <3
