A gift.

I wanted to learn some basic lettering skills to hand finish a watercolour gift I was ready to frame up.
This class was a great jumping off point for me as a complete novice.
Being a left handed person, I always recall the struggle back in school days with hand writing leaning the wrong way, or smudging ink and so on. But with some patience, adjusting the technique a little to suit me and using the Fudenosuke pen Jess recommended, I managed to find a way through the struggle to make my end piece.
I knew some of the wording I would likely want to include, so used some of these to practise with throughout.
I’ve included some photos of my workings and final piece.
Thank-you Jess for introducing me to the world of creative lettering, now I’m started down this path, I’m sure this won’t be my last project.
