A few of my thermoplastic creations

I loved making this class for you, but to be honest, I was not even filming it to become a class! I was exploring and having fun with this magical thermoplastic stuff, and turned on my iPhone camera... (the reason I had to have gentle backing music in this class is because I couldn't use the sound from my videos- I was playing my own music and singing along! I was having such a good time playing and learning to work with this stuff. It was like being in art school again.)

I'm so glad I did film it though, because I think it's an extra insight into me doing stuff for the first time too. This isn't a slick, fancy class- it's about exploring and making solutions. That's what my Studio Fu classes are all about- useful stuff you can implement, fast.

I hope the projects you see here - and in the class videos themselves - inspire you to create some useful tools and solutions for your art practice.

Here's another image of some of the things I made. That brush puck with the stripes is the one I made with the potato masher. The one with the little raised dots was created using a strainer for tins of tuna. Those two pucks are my absolute favourites and I use them almost every day now.

Get creative. I can't wait to see what you make. :)
Thank you for taking my class. x

(Also, I've read that a lot of people make cosplay vampire teeth out of thermoplastic... If you do that, I think it's only fair you show us in a selfie. ;) )
