7 day challenge with Madison Moore

Thank you very much for these lessons. I really enjoyed it. I understand the videos well and I like the way you teach and it makes me happy and curious to do it.  7 day challenge with Madison Moore - image 1 - student project

Day 1: Materials I used are watercolor, neocolor2, an aqua marker, a graphite marker, graphite pencils, colored pencils, paper is A4 size canson xl watercolor. I used salt and plastic for the structure in the watercolor. It was fun to do. I didn't have a plan, but I selected a few colors and materials that I wanted to work with.

I also make the painting on the top of this project on day 1 with the same materials but more colors I used. I also used gouache in that experiment. So i did 2 experiments on day 1.

Day 2: Materials I used are oil pastels on canson mi teintes colored paper, size A4, the structured side. I don't have any markers, so I used other materials. I have these oil pastels for a long time, but they are still new becaurse it's difficult to work with. It's out of my comfort zone.

Day 3: Materials I used are Fabriano ecoqua sketchbook A5. Graphite pencils HB and 8B. And ArtGraf watercolor graphite, the same as you have. The paper is very smooth and that is nice. Eraser cannot be used on this paper, the watercolor graphite staines too much, so this was an extra challenge for me.

Dag 4: The materials i used are paint-on paper from Clairefontaine A5 size and my Lamy safari fountain pen filled with platinum carbon black ink.

Day 5: Materials are hotpress watercolor paper A3 from Fabrianno. First with graphite pencil a basic sketch on the paper and after that with watercolors loose and quick painted. That's my goal these classes. No thinking, loose and quick on the paper. I like that a lot.

Day 6: With gouache on colored A5 mixed media paper. I tried illustrative painting but i'm more used to paint a bit more realistic and that's what happend. After about two hours the result is nice, i like it, but  i make a new one and try it again to paint more illustrative. The flowers on day 5 are more what i want.

This is de second tiger i done, a bit more illustrative and more out of proportion. It was fun to do and i like the result. I spend less time, about 45 minutes over all, and that's the trick for me in overworking the painting and be too realistic. Materials are the same as the other tiger.

Day 7: And the last one. Different vegetables what we eat today. With colored pencils on bristol smooth paper A4 size. I took a picture and from that i started. I love to draw like this.
