I am super excited and thankful that you are here.

A quick intro before you dive into the lessons!

My name is Soniya Vijayakumar. I'm the owner of The Stone Paper & Scissors Design Studio, an online boutique design studio.

I am abstract expressionism artist, designer and researcher. I work with watercolor, acrylic and natural paints, creating artworks inspired by nature, simplicity and beauty of everyday moments. I believe in the concept of slow living & mindfulness and bringing those emotions to life through deep connection in my artworks..

I love to share the knowledge that I have gained from my own experiences as I believe these are the most authentic knowledge one can share and receive.

Florals and abstracts always attract me and I have been painting since ever I remember. I started to diver deeper into abstracts since 2010.

I believe, each one of us out there has a creative side and with a little support, you can go long way and explore your creativity. This is exactly what I want to do here. I want to teach you all about how to paint florals and abstract artworks, right from the beginning. The value that I want to give you with each class are as follows:

1. Learn how to be confident and bold while exploring creativity

2. Develop a creative practice,at your own pace and in your own space

3. And being Mindful and being present in your creative practice, to let yourself indulge in the luxury of self-care

As an teacher, I consider myself the catalyst between a student's imagination and their creative expression, the spark that ignites their inner fire and propels them into the world of real-world creation. We navigate this transformative process with patience, simplicity, and an unwavering commitment to your success.
