project 0.3

Hi! Unfortunately, I couldn't do as much as I wished for in FL STUDIO web beta, but i would like to answer some questions regarding the song I would make and probably one day I will ^^

1. How do you want your listeners to feel going from the intro to the outro?

  • I want the energy to build slowly - like water filling a glass, drop by drop. When the first beat drops, I want listeners to feel like they're waking up, ready to move. By the outro, I want them to feel fully energised and in high spirits.

2. When cutting up your sample, how did patterns like "cut and repeat" or adding a rest affect your song's sound?

  • Cutting and repeating adds depth to the sound — like diving into a pool that makes you feel good. The patterns create a sense of layers, giving the track more texture and movement.

3. What is the most unforgettable part of your song?

  • The first and third drop - I'd design those moments to keep the listener on their toes, making them the most memorable parts of the song.

4. How did time stretching and adjusting the pitch of your sample align with your intro, verse, and hook?

  • I'd use time stretching and pitch adjustments as an undertone - something subtle that ties the intro, verse, and hook together without being too obvious.

5. What song or sound would you like to sample for your next project?

  • For my next project, I'd love to sample metro/subway sounds - chop them up, break them down, and flip them into something unexpected.
