Amigo is the best friend a girl could have. He is my faithful drawing buddy and snores on my lap while I draw. I began by thinking of all the things that make him special, he is obsessed with hard boiled eggs and birds. He spends most of his day sleeping, protecting the backyard from pesky bird intruders or doing zoomies around the house chasing his best friend our cat Diablo.

I've made patterns before but this is my first attempt at a collection. I like to choose my colors before I begin, then I make little circles with the basic idea.

Here is my beginning thought process from here I work on patterns individually. I got some free quilt templates in a Liz Koehler class so after I finish the final designs I will test them in the template and see how they would work in a quilt.
