I learned so much from this tutorial and am so grateful for it!

I winged it with the heel, just glued another piece of sole leather and a bit of Topy on the bottom, and sanded all the edges with a belt sander put on its back. It worked out ok once I got the hang of it (I started out burning the leather and unglueing the leather with the heat but then learned to do it more quickly and move around more) and so far I am quite happy with them and they are very comfortable!

I wish I had made the wide toe strap a little more curved in with more darts but I will keep that in mind for next time! Thanks again Rachel!
