Melinda - It took a lot of courage to try this but I love it and I can't believe I could accomplish this.  I will certainly try this again and again as I love nature and have many nature photos I can use as reference now I have some techniques. I messed up the masking I  as I ended up with big white patches so I painted in grass/ferns and on the trees I just glazed over to make it patchy bark. My colors are not as vibrant on screen but it looks great in real life. Thanks for wonderful demonstration.
