Hi Stanley, I wrote in a couple months ago asking you if I could use a real client and you said yes.  It took them awhile, but they finally got back to me and I have a meeting with them in a couple weeks.  I sent them a questionnaire and we are going to go over that in the initial client meeting.  The following is the content of that questionnaire:

Asking questions gets to the heart of things. I want to know the "why", behind the "why" so that we can get at the root of your business.

Please answer the following questions for me:

      1. What does success look like for this project?
      2. How can failure be avoided with this project? What are you worried might go wrong?
      3. Where do you see your business a year from now? Three years from now? 10 years from now?
      4. What is the single most difficult thing in your business right now?
      5. Who are your competitors?

These questions will help me develop a path forward for your business.  Thanks
for taking the time to answer these.

I just wanted to get a feel for their business.  This is actually a free template that I got from Ian Vadas who is a contributor to Just Creative blog.

I have done logo work before but I am more interested in developing a brand story and not just a pretty logo.  So that's where you class comes in.  I guess I would think my next steps after the initial meeting would be to develop an ideal customer profile like you did with your audience sheet in the video.  Then, develop the brand story. Is this correct?  I'm trying to piece all of it together so it makes sense to me and so I can be able to offer a more complete branding experience to my clients.  Let me know! Susan
