I wanted to choose an image that I thought would be fairly easy for each automatic background removal method. Here’s my results for Adobe Express, Canva Pro and iOS 16. None of the issues were glaring, but I’ll outline what I saw at the very end. 

Below is Adobe Express. This time Adobe prompted me to sign into my account before downloading the isolated image. I don’t remember that happening in the past.

I tapped on the photo, chose Share, and then I saved to my Files. 

They all did a pretty similar job. In this case, Adobe looks like the overall winner. 

They all had small issues at the top and the bottom of the cord. I think Canva did the best in that instance, and iOS 16 did the worst. iOS 16 also did the worst job at isolating under the phone itself.

The color is off for the Canva one, which is odd. I’ve never noticed that before with Canva.
