Phase 2: Planning your Portfolio

Hi everyone! In this phase I am planning the contents and order of my portfolio. I have 2 collections and 2 Mini collections.

Here is my outline:

• Sketches

• Collections/Mockups (I want each collection to be on right page and the mockup with the collection name on the left page)

• Contact Page

Phase 3: Designing the Pages

I am planning to only a make a digital version of my portfolio for now. I have sketched out the layout for the pages, and I am currently working on making them in Illustrator. There are more elements I want to add but I am using place holders for the time being.

Here are the pages I have worked on so far, I am planning to clean up the lettering.

For the sake of finishing I only included one collection but I am planning to add to it! What do you think of the design of the pages? Do you think I should add anything to them? Are they too plain?

Phase 5: Research and Contacts

I have decided to focus on the stationary industry and after some research here are the companies that I'm going to look further into and contact once I complete my portfolio.
