I did a research on Toile de Jouy because of a Spoonflower Challenge. This was my first try at it. I decided to go with a local tale of witchcraft. I incorporated an old ruin, a cat and a mouse, witches around a cauldron and a small little witches' cottage.  This red and cream combo was one of the options, but of course I did more of them. I adored making different pictures from my memory.
