oh Jen! this is absolutely beautiful! What a lovely painting to wake up to! The negative 'chatter' is hard to turn off isn't it... but I do feel you can officially stop telling yourself you're 'not good at delicate work'!! As this is so delicate.... your use of value is gorgeous, and I love that gentle bloom you have top left! Thanks so much for taking the class! :O)

Thanks Holly! It took a few tries but I finally found one I wasn't embarrassed to share ;) I might do another version - or something similar - to practice the technique.  :)

I'd love to see more if you do! I keep looking at that bud middle top right.... the way you've got that edge slightly furled over... it's a beautiful moment in a beautiful painting... :O)

I'm not good at "delicate" but this is pretty close.  :)
