I used 19 gauge silver plated copper wire or 0.9mm.  2x 4mm silver beads and 3 x 2mm.  I found it very easy to follow along with the video but I struggled as I don't have a ring mandrel, I did try to use a piece of pipe.  I also struggled a bit with getting the twists as nice as I wanted but as a very first try at wire wrapping I am pleased with the result and I will wear it.
