I had so much fun doing this practice, instead of using a credit card, I had in hand my palette knifes, but I think they did the trick.

I was so caught out in making lines that I forgot I was shaping a tree (there are so many branches).

 

For the final project I got inspired by a picture of fallen tree that I took a few years ago, I was caught by the texture and colors on it (blacks grays, greens, yellows) and here it is:
