Winter Bridge~Capturing Winter’s Glow

Another wonderful tutorial Chis. You have made such a huge impact on my watercolor journey this past year and a half. Your classes are the some of the most organized and well-planned classes that I have taken of any here on Skillshare!
I had actually started but never finished this painting last winter. I have no idea what I ever did with it, but I would have wanted to start fresh anyway.
I don’t know if wet on wet will ever get ‘easier’ for me. The paper always has a nice wet sheen when I start, but I just can’t work fast enough to get it done before it starts drying. In my hurried state, is how I end up painting areas I don’t want to paint such as the snow, but overall it didn’t seem to hurt this painting.
I loved how we painting the snow on the left handed trees without using masking fluid. I got a little lost on the first tree, but had the hang of it by the 2nd and 3rd.
My blending seems to be getting better and it makes sense that I was far more comfortable this time around than I remember last winter.
Including this one, I have now painted 5 winter scenes to use as my assorted Christmas cards this year. They are now ready to send to the printer!
Thanks for the amazing class as always and the Bonus was absolutely lovely. I just sold my piano last year, makes me really miss it! D:)
