I enjoyed making these pretty cards though I must say I got confused with the mechanics of making them pop...

This worked out well.

I cut back too far on this top piece and had to add elements later to cover the second layer.  And I just threw in some more of the sketches I'd made so that they wouldn't go to waste.

I loved this card though some of my elements stuck out at the top.

The elements inside even stuck out after the card was closed so obviously I don't understand the mechanics all that well yet.

Loved the butterflies!

...and the folding book though I messed up the pop-up part of this and it doesn't really jump out at you.

And my final card.

Everything sort of sticks out the sides when this card gets folded too but I really like the layers in this.

I'm glad I know that pop-up cards can be done!  I hope I'll remember this type of art for other projects someday.
