This was such a great class! I really enjoyed painting this wolf.  I think I might need to go back and adjust some of the values, but I am going to wait a few more days and look with fresh eyes.

I especially liked the negative painting technique for using the background to define the edges of the wolf. I think I may want to darken that in some spots as well, but I will see how I feel in a few days.

*I ended up going back in and making small adjustments to my values in both the wolf and the background.  I mainly used D.S. moonglow to add darker tones and white acrylic ink to boost my highlights. My before and after pictures are both below.
