This was hard! Hardest for me was managing the pencil--my hardest one is a 2B, and I kept on smearing it all over the place. I also decided to put that blue wash in there because after I'd started painting, I was afraid to put too much stuff in there, though I did end up putting in the 2 background anemones in the middle. Then I had to figure out a trick for the yellow stamen--I ended up using a white gel pen, and once dry, going back over the tips of the stamen with paint.

Finally, I decided to add a slight shadow to the lettering, because it was really getting lost in there... Anyway, I sure learned a lot!
