Watercolour landscapes

I enjoyed this class.  I was simple low stress and  effective.

My first attempt was quite muddy.  I was not happy with the result but I could see the potential.  I think the blue was too light and the overall picture lacked depth. I had trouble controlling the amount of paint.  But that's the point really...to learn.

Attempt two was better. It reminds me of bushfire.  I have this on my mind a lot as we had a close call with a bushfire a few weeks ago.

By try number three I was starting to get the hang of the technique and liked the result a lot better.  It's quite grainy looking in the photo but its not so textured in reality.

I'll keep practicing and try to get better control without spoiling the randomness inherent in the technique.
