This is so alive! I love the combination of the bleeding watercolour with the graphic looking embroidery.

Hi Irina, This looks amazing! I know I'm the one teaching this, but I would love to see how you did it! You seem to have so much control over the paint. My advice on the stars is to first draw it with a pencil. You can add the pencil after you did the watercolor. I also have a class on how to trace an image on the fabric Please make more because this is amazing!!

and for your suggestions about embroidery. 

Yes I am going to make more of this ))) so many ideas started popping in my had when I was doing this - flowers, whimsical landscapes, more constellations and it is so relaxing.

About sharing the process, I was actually thinking about filming some of it next time. I used water brush for spreading the paint, didn't put the paint in the brush but it was helpful to be able to squeeze water when I needed it, the paint still run outside the painted line but I like how it looks ) 
I am painting with watercolor for many years but on the fabric, I enjoyed doing it, even more, it is not drying for such a long time and I could keep adding color to it )))

Irina, I'm intrigued how your work looks on fabric without editing and clearing photo. Thank you for showing this! How did you gain such vibrant colors, what materials?

Hi Olga, without clearing the scan and bringing white to real white the colors look lighter and blue is not as an electric blue, but it is still pretty bright ))) I used Mijello Mission Gold watercolors and I added 3 or 4 layers of paint letting them dry in between. Are you going to try this project? I would love to see your results!

Thank you for teaching me how to combine two of my favorite crafts, I didn't do embroidery in years and this class inspired me to get back to it. However, I didn't have white embroidery thread so I used simple thread and it is harder to notice on fabric. I would be so grateful on some tips on how to stitch the stars, I did some kind of improvisation with each of them )) I added the text in photoshop after the fabric with embroidery was scanned.
