I didn't have liquid watercolor, so I made my own with cobalt blue. The border got larger and larger! Have to remember to apply the color in a much smaller area. Darkened some of the cobalt with neutral tint in a few places. For the yellow, I used raw sienna and a bit of burnt sienna. Enjoyable, relaxing tutorial. Oh - I thought the duck's feet looked too much "in the air" so I gave it some ground with dry brush. 9x12 Arches Tried a little salt on this. I'm planning a series now of white animals with cobalt background. Good for a nursery or some such.
