Watercolor Seascape

This is a painting from my recent trip to Calvert Cliffs State Park in southern Maryland, by the Chesapeake Bay. I didn't get to paint on location despite having all my supplies with me because it was just too crowded with fossil hunters. So, I snapped a photo and painted this back at the hotel. The techniques in this class were really helpful! I would love to get more practice painting on location when the conditions are right. Watercolor Seascape - image 1 - student project

I'm using an Etchr Perfect Sketchbook A5 size, Windsor and Newton pro watercolors, and Utrecht travel brushes. I didn't bother with the masking tape because I wanted to save time. I find the jagged edges don't really bother me that much.
