Hi Eva, This is such a beautiful first project :) Well done! You did a fantastic job using side lighting to bring out the rich texture and shine of the orange peel in syrup. The way the light hits the surface gives it that gentle glow that makes homemade food feel extra comforting and real. I also love your choice to keep the color palette minimal. It really helps the subject stand out and gives the whole image a warm, elegant feel. Most of all, I can feel your excitement and pride in this photo—and that’s what I love seeing the most. Taking a picture of a home made orange peel in syrup, with using the light at from the side, and keeping the color palette limited.
