This was challenging but very interesting. It's opened up a lot of ideas for me on how to make vector drawing have depth. In my traditional drawing class, our teacher always says that colour gets the credit but tone does the heavy lifting when it comes to making a drawing look realistic. The cast shadow method taught here is really effective, and I think the overall effect is pretty cool.
