I used the complementary colors of blue and orange but went with blue grey and yellow ocre in order to keep it more natural. The sketch is deliberately loose which drove me a little nutty because it's too uncontrolled but I'm fine with it. I wanted it to be quick because my long term goal is to be able to do this in the urban environment instead of from photographs so I will have to draw quicker. I also struggled with finding the right colors for the wall in the background to go with the door and stone. It works okay but it needs more pop. I'm just not sure what colors to use.
