Great tail feathers. You could go stronger on the neck with more water and pigment to get a deeper black, but I quite like the velvety look of it. Well done

Thank you, Nadine! I appreciate your feedback,  and will definitely work on the neck again.  Actually,  I wondered about the neck looking too light and too blue myself, so I thought about a layer of Paynes gray. What do you think?

yes absolutely. I use indigo and paynes grey interchangeably, often I use a mix of both when i want a strong black. 

I was a little nervous that I would mess it up, but I did it and it looks so much richer now! Ty!! I will update or add the new version (whichever I can figure out☺)
