These are my take on Jo's latest project. I hammered the jump rings and then set a 3mm garnet in the centre. I would recommend using a little coolheat or the equivalent in the setting when attaching the post.
The larger earrings were easier just because of the size. Always good to use up left over silver! I have added a pair made with 4x7mm jump rings and a 5mm rhodolite garnet in the middle. I found it helped to mark where to solder the rings with a sharpie and to solder all the rings first before positioning them where they needed to be to make the shape I wanted. I then used the solder in the joins to link the rings together.
The pair at the top are made with jump rings fashioned out of 8mm copper wire and a larger silver ball than usual to cover the soldering. I'm not sure why I expected copper to behave exactly like silver but it doesn't!
