Thanks, Maria, for your lovely feedback. I'm a Kiwi now and am so proud of how well they all did. South Africa didn't do well at all. I'm keeping an eye on what they do because SA is still part of me. The Netherlands is also still close to my heart.

Your country did extremely well! For 5 million people! South Africa is a different story. But I noticed that more and more countries have medals! That is a good thing.

I agree that it is good to see more countries getting medals. NZ did exceptionally well this year. My sister in South Africa said that SA  was 44th, which isn't bad for them too.

the fish are good but don't be worried about the water - get a scrap piece of paper and really load it up water and see what happens. Not all paints will move the same, I love it when you find a one that shoots across a fully wet area, excellent fun.

Lovely patterns, especially 2 and 3. Don't be afraid to add water, it just gives lovely bleeds. You have to go in with thicker paint if you want to distinguish the spots then.

You are welcome. Btw, Schmincke and Daniel Smith colors spread a lot, Holbein and Mijello don't, they don't contain ox gall.

Good :-)! Btw, for my version I wetted the paper with something like 4 brush strokes so that it was really wet and took the paint straight out of the tube. So that you get an impression how it looks like when there is lots of water! Only my paints don't spread as much which in this case was less fun ;⁠-⁠)..

I'm still afraid to wet the paper enough to get a good flow of pigment.
