Hi, Christine, thanks so much for sharing your project! I'm SO glad that you surprised yourself and had fun drawing these wonderful, emotive characters!I like both of these characters so much. My favorite details are the eyes and eyebrows (great tension!) on the curly-haired woman, and the hair of the little girl on the left.Moving forward, I think it would be great to experiment with simplifying or exaggerating facial features. As you get more comfortable with drawing faces, which details can you omit? What creative license could you take?Keep up the great work, I'm excited to see more of your drawings!

Annie, you have really lit a fire under me. LOL I wasn't especially interested in cartooning/character drawing, but I took your challenge and learned something multiple SkillShare art teachers have said that I didn't want to hear. 

I don't LOOK enough.

I'm going to continue this challenge of drawing expressive faces with as few lines as possible, because it is the most fun exercise I've seen yet to get me to slow the heck down and LOOK before I put pencil to paper.

I did better than I expected and I surprised myself with how fun it can be to draw emotions! These two are my favorites. I especially like the curly haired girl. She just looks so gobsmacked. LOL
