The Old Maple

I had a fantastic time in this class and learned a great deal. I can picture two trees drawn on separate pieces of paper, each created with unique techniques, resulting in completely different outcomes.

It's truly uplifting to realize the significance of watercolor paper. Understanding the unique qualities of each type gives me confidence that I can achieve success with my final painting. The Old Maple - image 1 - student project

I am going to add to my project with some more encouragement for you and also to give you a few more ideas for your project.

This old photo could use a little AI attention but I wanted you to see that you can do a painting right from your apartment or back porch. The old broken gate reminds me of the rock wall and the Old Maple in this class on IMPROVING YOUR TREE SKILLS.

You can also do a pencil or ink sketch.Find a tree and draw it from life.

DRAW...INK...PAINT

Let me see what you do and leave a review so I can improve my teaching skills.

I'm excited to see what everyone accomplishes in this class! I truly hope you all discover the magic behind the concept of "draw it, ink it, paint it."
