I am an admin professional in a support role.  Ive never had an assistant other than students when I was working in a high school.  With that said, I was very careful to try and guide them in a professional way without being bossy or uncaring.  In a world of seniors who were navigating their last year in high school and being an office assistant, their world is a little crazy at times.  I am happy that cooperation and respect were prevalent.
