Sunny Room, Bookcase and Happy Street

Whew!  I spent an endless number of hours completing these sketches sketches and illustrations for these projects.  I have previously tried to learn perspective from books but it didn't seem to make much sense.  The class material was very thorough and clearly presented.  I was happy to leave the technical theory behind and had a creative explosion for the third project.  I hope that my perspective was believable and I attempted both night and day versions and a stormy sky for our terrible weather.  I also took the time to make colour thumbnails for the room and street projects.  It was a good idea to complete this step instead of rushing into the painting process. I found it tricky to pull guidelines from the vanishing point across to the far side of the illustration!  It was a good experience!
