Starflower Earrings
I really love this design. I used crystal rondelles with a greenish gray tint. My paste solder isn't working. It just drips off the wire when I heat it up even after I squeeze out the paste closest to the tip of the syringe. I've had it for years so maybe it just isn't good any longer. So, I placed a pallion of easy solder on the join between the jump ring and earwire. It worked just fine! I'm so happy I have Jo's texture sheets to make these beautiful earrings.
I made another pair of earrings from the leftover strip of textured silver. These are much smaller. Instead of making a jump ring and a separate ear wire, I made an eye pin loop at the end of the wire. After attaching the textured shaped ovals to the loop, I soldered a pallion of easy solder to the join. It was easier than connecting the end of the wire to the join in the jump ring and I think it ends up looking the same. I used a small purplish sparkly bead for this more petite pair of earrings. Thanks, Joanne!
