Speed Demon!

What a great class.

1. What tip did you find most useful in this class?

It might actually be the simplest one - but setting up templates and custom workspaces. It's so easy to overlook but totally worth it. I took your Actions class right after this one, and with the combination of the two classes you end up saving so much time and avoiding tedium!

I want to love global colour but I'm not doing something right, and it doesn't totally work for me. I think I just need to try it again or on different/new artwork.

2. What tip surprised you? It was the appearance panel, wasn't it?

Definitely the appearance panel. It's so great for trying out variations and making changes of something very quickly. Also, most definitely those Astute plug-ins. The one that simplifies Image Trace vectors looks like a dream!

3. What would you like to learn more about in Adobe Illustrator?

More on the appearance panel and setting up graphic styles :D Brushes - creating custom ones/ recolouring them easily (I feel like this is usually a bit tricky for me). Textures?

4. Was there anything in class, or as a teacher I could have improved on?

Not really. It was easy to follow along, and there was a lot of different information for people at varying skill-levels. The resource PDF was also great!

5. What would you like to learn more about in Adobe Illustrator (In General)?

How to keep cleaner, more organised artwork, and just generally getting better and faster! I'm also interested in learning about the many tools that are unfamiliar to me (Hello pencil tool.)

Once again, thanks for your classes Jon!
