Sparkling Seawater (Seascape) in Watercolour

Greetings Malcolm,

I'm Harshita, a mixed media artist who loves learning new things, especially at a time where I am attempting to overcome my art block.

These are the art products that I have used to create my seascape.

Products Used -

- Montmartre Watercolour Paint (Artist Grade - Cerulean Blue, Prussian Blue, Sky Blue), Winsor and Newton Cotman Watercolour (Ultramarine Blue), Camlin Artist Grade Paints (Sap Green, Cobalt Blue Hue. Yellow Ochre).
- Søstrene Grene Metallic Watercolours (Shades of Blue and Light Green; an ocean palette).
- Gansai Tambi Metallic Watercolours (White Gold).
- LeFranc Bourgeois Masking Fluid
- Winsor & Newton Flat Brush, Round Brush and Fine Liner Brush from Søstrene Grene; all for watercolour.

Following are the snapshops of the painting, along with closeup shots -

Following are the snapshots of the same painting. Since I'm a mixed media artist, I added metallic watercolours close to the areas previously covered with masking fluid.

That's all for now. Taking this class has given my ideas to execute art pieces with masking fluid. I feel inspired to use masking fluid more, as a result.

Thank you very much for posting this class. Much appreciated from my end ✨
