I used this painting as an excuse to try a new colour I got, Manganese Blue Nova. And I really loved the process of painting it, it was relaxing and incredibly pleasant.

 

I kind of liked the softness of the colours, so I decided to leave them lighter. Now I think the painting lacks a bit of contrast and definition, but I like the pretty colours anyway haha. I can always revisit this painting and retouch it if I feel like adding darker colours. Or maybe remake it, because it was so nice to paint that I wouldn’t mind doing it again.
