This is an excellent exercise to develop your measuring skills, Carmen. Don't be upset. You're doing great. Repetition just makes you better in this. 🙂

These are great Carmen...I think you might be being too hard on yourself as even the first hummingbird is a good honest sketch! Repeating each sketch is really good practice though and helps hone observation of those angles and where points match up. Your drawings seem to get more relaxed as you go through the different animals and it looks like you became more accepting of correcting with your lines as you go rather than erasing. Those repeated sketch lines add a confidence and energy to the sketches. I especially like the dinosaur and the frog! Well done and thanks for sharing, Emily

I like sketching freehand and thought ..oh this a breeze. NOT.
That little Hummingbird took many tries to come close. The others not so bad. Some i was satisfied with first attempt. Nice class. I think I started paying more attention to where points matched up as I progressed.
