This is a great class from a great teacher!
I always had to google drawings and cartoons to get inspired to draw my own. For this project I made my own funny cartoons from foto’s. Jutta teaches how to get rid of perspective, reality and realisme! “Just simplify in different steps!!!”.  She told a simple cartoon car takes an our to draw for an artist and she shows it step by step. I had to practice a lot, because I had almost a week every day fun with my drawings and I am still not finished. I will sure do the landscape part and more.
As a result of this class, I look different to artists who draw very simplified. For instance Dick Bruna with his Miffy books! Now I can understand why the drawings a Miffy book took al lot of skills and time! 

 

To draw a cartoon drawings you need to look very well to the object or animal. What do you need to draw to recognize the subject? Forget perspective,  realism and reality and simplify step by step! It took me hours to draw these flowers, car and cows!
