Simple not simple... I have difficulty painting loosely (I am a "super precise" kinda person) I will have to practice this technique a lot more to master it like you do! 

I tried it twice yesterday and today but I can't seem to do the water correctly on both lol oh well!

 

This one, on 100% coton was easier to blend

 

But this one, on cellulose paper was dry as soon as I did the wash

For this paper, I think I should have make a wash with clean water first.
