I just uploaded my first song to Soundcloud. I took several of Mike's courses before, and finally decided to publish one of the projects. Here it is - titled: Sidechainers.

I learned just the right amount of info to apply Mike's knowledge on Sidechain compression to this newly created track. Before that, I also took the course on Compression which helped a lot.

First I created an AUX channel for beats (kick) and sent a duplicate signal there. Then I added a Compressor FX to the bass channel, turned on Sidechain and linked it with the Bus channel that beats AUX is connected to. Configuration of the Compressor was Attack time: 0,5ms, Release: 40ms, Threshold level around -20dB. Also did the same with synth pad channel.
