At some point, the project just evolved into something else but it's still a pocket journal and it's still based on this journal model.

I kept the corners straight as I felt it went better with the cloth I chose. I also kept the tapes inside the whole outer frame, as I didn't think they would look good outside. I was inspired by Jan here on one of the student projects. It was a headache to keep them connected while sewing the signature, but I eventually managed it.

Apart from that I went a little more fancy on the bookmark and put no elastic band to close the book.

I still have problems in cutting the signatures to the exact same size. I need to find brass weights like yours!

I think it came out beautiful and I can't wait to give it to my sister.
