I just came up with a concept water bottle design in the last two hours. The idea is pretty simple but unique: the body of the bottle is circular, while the drinking section is rectangular. So basically, the design plays with two main shapes — circular and rectangular.

Instead of a traditional cap, there’s no cover on this one. The drinking part has a gap between the two rectangular surfaces, and that’s where the water becomes accessible to drink.

Right now, it’s just a rough concept and I know it has a lot of cons. But if I work on it more in the future, I’d like to refine it into something more practical, maybe even turn it into a prototype that’s functional and easy to use. With some development, I’m confident it could have its own set of pros too.
