At the moment we are on holidays in Northern Italy at the Lago di Garda.

Yesterday was a rainy day and I used the time to do this fun Skillshare course- thanks a lot, Nadine, for this beautiful class!

 

… and as presentation is everything :-) I took my sketchbook to the lake this morning to find the real thing!

My proportions of the swan somehow seem to resemble a duck! I should have reduced the size of the head- but as this is a A5 Sketchbook, it then would have been very difficult to paint the details of the head.
