Vision includes dramatic arts school

It is April 30 and I am driving to my community art building. Spring flowers are in bloom. I am driving a car that is fully paid for. Today is the day of our stage play - I Am Redeemed. The women have been through a 6-week discipleship course called RUTH which stands for Redeeming Us Through Healing. We use the bible, prayer, and sharing to heal an area of pain throughout the six weeks. We discuss the one thing we want to heal (i.e. trauma). The culmination of the 6-week course is a stage dramatic presentation testifying to our change. It is called Testimony Theater. The women receive certificates of completion and recognition for  all their work. Some or all of the women agree to disciple another woman who signs up for the RUTH program in the future. 

We hold sewing, writing, and dramatic art classes at the center.
